CMC implementation Prerequisites
The following steps outline the necessary prerequisites required for the implementation of a Common Mark Certificate:

Deploy Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance (DMARC) standards for your domain
You will have to create a DMARC record which requires at least SPF or DKIM in place to demonstrate domain authentication.

Be able to prove ownership of your logo
For a CMC, you do not require legal registration of your logo, but you must have been using it for at least 12 months.

Convert your logo file to the .SVG format
You will need to convert your logo to the .SVG format.

Purchase a CMC and complete validation
A certificate is required for each individual email domain and is valid for one year.

Upload the purchased CMC to your web server
Upload your Common Mark Certificate file that is issued to you on to the appropriate Web Server.

Update or create your BIMI record
Use an online BIMI record-generating tool and add the produced BIMI TXT record to your domain’s DNS.
